V A N C O U V E R

Before moving to Toronto, I lived in Vancouver for six years. So when I travel back to the beautiful city of glass, it is as if I am returning to my home-away-from-home. This trip I had the pleasure of traveling with my Mom and my partner, making it all the more special.

- MUST HAVE -

When I'm traveling for an extended weekend trip, which was the case this time around, I find packing a bit more challenging because I only take carry-on luggage. One trick I have learned over the years is that by packing mostly neutrals, you can mix and match all your outfits, allowing you to pack even lighter. Pictured below is one of my #mossopmusthave travel essentials, the Rimowa Salsa Delux 58L

- MUST DO -

An all time favourite activity of mine, is running the Vancouver seawall. It is said to be the longest uninterrupted waterfront pathway in the world, measuring approximately 28km. You don't have to run the seawall to enjoy it, this trip I walked it with my travel companions and it was equally enjoyable and great form of exercise.

- MUST SEE -

There's nothing quite like surrounding yourself with the fresh smell of the ocean, the spectacular skyline filled with glass buildings, bridges and picturesque mountains, and the hustle and bustle of a diverse marketplace. Insert Granville Island. One of my #mustsee destinations in Vancouver, and where you'll catch me hanging out almost every trip to Vancouver.

- MUST EAT -

Vancouver and delicious eats are synonymous. I always rant and rave about the sushi in this city, but tied with Japanese at number one, for my favourite type of cuisine, is Italian. A #musteat hot spot is located in one of my favourite Vancouver neighbourhoods - Yaletown. La Pentola, is located in the Opus hotel and is my final recommendation from my trip to Vancouver. Make sure to try the artichokes fritti, the grilled octopus, and the pappardelle pasta. #ITSLOVEBABY <3
