reNEWed STYLE

The new year brings new style goals and wardrobe changes. No matter how much you curate your looks or follow the rapidly changing trends, most of us take to our closets and rid ourselves of worn out staples, or last season's trends, in preparation for the influx of new items for all our #ootd needs.

This year, I wanted to try something new. Instead of hitting up my favourite shops for the latest and greatest in menswear, I visited Consign Toronto to see what recycled gems I could incorporate into my wardrobe. Check out my finds below. I hope you're as pleasantly surprised as I was!!!

- SNEAKERS -

Ok, I'll be the first to admit it, buying previously warn sneakers is a bit weird. But listen, those who care about fashion and decide to resell their once valued pieces, often haven't worn them too much to begin with or have kept them in impeccable condition. That was the case with these Adidas x Jeremy Scott kicks. Plus, in some cases, aren't worn-in sneakers better?!?!

- BLAZERS -

If you're looking for a sports jacket, or blazer, consignment stores offer a wide array of styles. Menswear designers are taking inspiration from the 70s and 80s, so if you follow the likes of Vetements, Off White and Balenciaga, you'll notice they're all creating new silouhettes and blocks from old classics. So why not just buy an oversized blazer and create your own variation!? #diy

- COATS -

Many coats go out of style, but a great many last the test of time. While I'm a firm believer that a coat should keep you warm, I also place equal emphasis on the design. Ideally, your coat should make you look AND feel hot! Consign Toronto offers a great selection of men's jackets and coats that will check off both of these boxes.
